At the 11th Sino-German Forum on Economic and Technical Cooperation, Xiang Wenbo said, "China and Europe have great economic complementarity, and I think there is great potential for cooperation. ”
Xiang Wenbo introduced that in 2008, Sany established a company in Bedburg, Germany, and in 2022, it will have sales of nearly 350 million euros in Europe. In 2012, Sany acquired Putzmeister and wrote a good story of "dancing with dragons and elephants". After ten years of hard work, in 2022, Putzmeister's sales exceeded 900 million euros, an increase of 80% compared with the initial acquisition, a profit of nearly 60 million euros, and the total number of employees in Germany increased by 30%.
In addition, Sany has also established joint ventures with PALFINGER in Austria and Deutz in Germany, and established long-term partnerships with 11 German suppliers such as Mercedes-Benz and Rexroth.
The vivid cases are undoubtedly the best proof of the mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises.
In recent years, Sany has vigorously deployed new energy industries, including wind energy, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, energy storage, etc., with a strong development momentum and broad development prospects in Europe. Among them, in 2008, Sany entered the wind energy industry.
