On November 17, the first BRICS Innovation Base Entrepreneur Forum was held in Xiamen. As one of the series of activities of the 2023 BRICS Partnership for the New Industrial Revolution, this forum aims to build a normalized exchange and cooperation platform for BRICS enterprises and further promote technical exchanges and project cooperation.

The forum was hosted by the BRICS Innovation Base Industry Innovation Alliance, and co-organized by the Center for International Economic and Technical Cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd., the Office of the Leading Group for the Construction of the BRICS Innovation Base, and the People's Government of Huli District, Xiamen.

Xiang Wenbo, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rotating Chairman of Sany Group and Chairman of Sany Heavy Industry, was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a keynote speech as the vice chairman of the BRICS Innovation Base Industrial Innovation Alliance.

Xiang Wenbo said that this year marks the fifth anniversary of the BRICS Partnership for a New Industrial Revolution proposed by President Xi Jinping, and BRICS cooperation has injected more certainty, stability and positive energy into the world through high-quality partnerships.

Among them, the BRICS Partnership for the New Industrial Revolution focuses on practical cooperation, especially in areas such as green development. As an important strategy for the Group's development, Sanyi has established parallel electrification divisions in all business divisions to develop and promote electrified products. In 2022, Sany (including Promethe) sold 14,500 units of equipment in BRICS countries such as Brazil, India, and South Africa, with sales exceeding 13 billion yuan.

In the first three quarters of this year, Sany sold another 14,500 units in BRICS countries, with sales of more than 14 billion yuan exceeding that of last year, accounting for about 40% of the group's overall overseas sales in the current period.
