The "National Engineer Award" commendation conference was held in Beijing on the 19th. 81 individuals were awarded the title of "National Outstanding Engineer", and 50 teams were awarded the title of "National Outstanding Engineer Team". Among them, Yi Xiaogang, director, executive president and chief engineer of Sany Group, was selected and awarded the title of "National Outstanding Engineer".

Yi Xiaogang led the Sany technology innovation team to devote itself to the independent research and development of key technologies and core components of China's construction machinery for a long time. He led the team to conquer the three key technologies of concrete high-pressure pumping, ultra-long boom design and core hydraulic components of construction machinery, and created a number of world records such as 620-meter and 86-meter ultra-long boom for concrete vertical pumping, making significant contributions to China's concrete high-pressure pumping technology and industry from scratch, from following to surpassing, and finally ranking among the world's advanced ranks.
