On November 19, in Changsha, Hunan, the "Zhongnan Sany Science and Technology City Global AI Digital-Real Integration Industry Science and Technology Innovation Base" jointly built by Central South University, Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Sany Group was officially released and signed!

Tang Xiuguo, rotating chairman and president of Sany Group, said at the press conference that anchoring the beautiful blueprint of "three highs and four new" and helping Changsha build a global R&D center city, as a first-class university, first-class industrial highland and first-class enterprise in Hunan Province, Central South University, Changsha Economic Development Zone and Sany Group hope to accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, cultivate trillion-dollar industrial clusters, and make first-class contributions to scientific and technological innovation and industrial take-off in Hunan Province through the Science and Technology City.

Tang Xiuguo introduced that the science and technology city has 2.48 million square meters of industrial city space, with a total investment of 23.5 billion yuan. This is not only the location of Sany Global R&D Center, but also the traditional factory building will be successively updated into an industry-city space, which will be used to carry the science and technology innovation center, small and medium-sized test base, digital economy industrial park, computing power center, etc. of Central South University and the Economic Development Zone.

Tang Xiuguo said that at present, artificial intelligence and new energy are reshaping the world, we are entering the era of "all in AI", and in order to win the next stage of AI competition, we must consolidate the three major infrastructures of "steel", "server" and "electricity". Based on this, Zhongnan Sany Science and Technology City is committed to becoming an infrastructure provider in the AI era.

As a provincial key project, the Science and Technology City has gathered the world's top institutions such as McKinsey, SOM, Foster, etc., and has successively presided over the high-level planning and design of the project, forming a project vision of "industrial take-off, opening up a new ecology, and a good job experience".

Sany Group will build the Science and Technology City into an artificial intelligence base, integrate the vertical research, production, supply and marketing resources accumulated over the past 38 years, and open up to the ecology with the "T2E" model based on the horizontal iSANY, industrial Internet platform and AI infrastructure, so as to empower the three ecosystems of "engineering and construction", "mining and logistics" and "wind power and new energy", so as to realize the re-take-off of the industry.

Sany Cloud Valley's 600 acres of commercial and residential facilities, the nine-year school affiliated to the Normal University, the 40,000-square-meter sports mall, as well as the surrounding Aeon Mall, Changsha Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Songya Lake Wetland Park, Wuyue Plaza and other mature municipal facilities, will provide a good experience for the future 30,000 scientific research and industrial personnel of the Science and Technology City.

In addition, on the same day, the construction of a number of "school-enterprise joint laboratories" of Central South University was launched, and Central South University, Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, Changsha Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, and Sany Group will jointly build Changsha Intelligent Construction Research Institute.
