Sany Group takes the lead! This major project was launched

On February 7, the launching ceremony of the top ten technical research projects in Hunan Province in 2025 was held in Changsha. Among them, Sany Group took the lead in undertaking the "R&D of high-performance hydrogen energy heavy trucks in all scenarios", marking a solid step forward in the R&D and industrial application of hydrogen energy technology in Hunan Province, and also injecting strong impetus into China's hydrogen energy heavy truck technology breakthrough.

As one of the zero-pollution and sustainable energy sources, hydrogen energy is widely used in many industries and fields. The future market space of hydrogen energy heavy trucks is huge and has broad prospects, and it is currently facing core problems such as low power of the combustion power system, insufficient reliability, and short mileage.

As one of the top ten technical research projects in Hunan Province in 2025, the "R&D of High-performance Hydrogen Energy Heavy Trucks in All Scenarios" project led by Sany Group will focus on four key technologies, including the forward integrated design and lightweight of fuel cell heavy trucks, and the safe integrated development of hydrogen and electric structures, and develop full-scene high-performance hydrogen energy heavy trucks suitable for inter-provincial medium and long-distance trunk logistics, create landmark products for hydrogen energy utilization, and drive the development of the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy production, storage, transportation, processing and use in Hunan Province.

At the end of 2024, Sany Group released a new generation of hydrogen energy heavy truck "Changkong 200", which is suitable for steel and coal mine freight, on-site and off-site trunk transportation scenarios, with seven advantages such as low hydrogen consumption, long battery life, light weight, and high power, and all performance has reached the industry-leading level. In addition, Sany landed the largest in the countryIntegrated hydrogen production and refueling stationIt can provide a complete set of solutions for hydrogen production, storage, transportation and refueling with renewable energy, more controllable cost, and cleaner and low-carbon.

In the future, the Sany R&D team will continue to deepen the field of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, focus on high-power, high-performance and long-range trunk logistics and transportation, promote the improvement and development of the hydrogen energy industry chain in Hunan Province through the R&D and application of full-scene hydrogen energy heavy trucks, and contribute to the field of fuel cell technology in China and even the world.
