On April 24, Qiu Yi, President of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, visited Changsha Industrial Park of Sany Group and held talks with Xiang Wenbo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Sany Group and Chairman of Sany Heavy Industry. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on college students' employment and entrepreneurship, talent training, and industry-university-research cooperation, and held the "Employment and Practice Base" awarding ceremony.

At the symposium, President Qiu Yi introduced the development history, school-running philosophy, and major setting of Central South University of Forestry and Technology. She expressed the hope that the two sides will strengthen cooperation in job expansion, employment and entrepreneurship, pilot platform construction, intelligent manufacturing technology research, etc., so as to achieve a win-win pattern of "two-way running" between schools and enterprises.
Xiang Wenbo extended a warm welcome to Qiu Yi and his entourage, he said that Sany Group, as a leading enterprise in the equipment manufacturing industry, has always regarded talent and innovation as the core driving force for development, and looks forward to bold exploration with Central South University of Forestry and Technology in the linkage of venture capital funds, the co-construction of test and inspection platforms, and the exchange of teachers, so as to break the technical bottleneck and cultivate innovation momentum through industry-university-research collaboration.

Under the witness of Qiu Yi and Xiang Wenbo, Liu Gaoqiang, vice president of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, and Zhang Mingquan, director of the human resources headquarters of Sany Group, jointly unveiled the "Employment and Practice Base" on behalf of both the school and the enterprise. The base will provide students with a broader internship and training platform, help improve the quality of application-oriented talent training, and open a new chapter for school-enterprise cooperation.
