On August 16, the minaret structure of the Gama Grand Mosque (hereinafter referred to as the Grand Mosque) project in Algeria reached a height of 206 meters, surpassing the 187-meter-high Cairo Tower in Egypt to become the height of *5656 in North Africa. What has attracted much attention is that the concrete pouring operation of the minaret uses more than 40 Sany equipment, creating a speed of 7 days to build the first floor.
The Great Mosque of Gama in Algeria is located on the central axis of Algiers, the capital of Algeria. The project covers an area of 400,000 square meters and includes 12 buildings such as minarets, prayer halls, Islamic colleges, libraries and cultural centers. The project has a total cost of about US$1.5 billion and is being undertaken by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC). The project started construction in 2012, and Sany invested more than 40 concrete equipment and lifting equipment to participate in the construction to escort the smooth progress of the entire project.

After the completion of the minaret of the Gama Grand Mosque, it is 265 meters high and is the world's *5661 steel structure minaret, with 42 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, with a total steel structure weight of 8,041 tons. The 2nd to 37th floors of the minaret are standard floors, and the 38th to 42nd floors are the viewing platforms. The concrete pouring operation of the project uses Sany ultra-high pressureTractor pumpand Sany cloth rod bearing.
According to the customer's construction plan, the construction of the minaret must meet the speed requirement of 7 days per floor to ensure the construction progress and pouring intensity. To this end, Sany equipment runs at full power and operates continuously for a long time. Sany ultra-high pressure tow pump performed well, without any major failures, and its concrete pipeline washing technology handled the concrete residue in the pipeline well, which was both environmentally friendly and efficient.

At the same time, the prayer hall with a difficulty of *5655 in the construction of the project has also made breakthroughs, and on August 16, the rear part of the prayer hall is also the part of the entire project with a difficulty of *5655 - the dome structure began to be installed. Sany's 400-ton crawler crane undertakes the main lifting operation.
According to reports, the dome of the prayer hall is 71.1 meters high, 27.3 meters high, and has a span of 45.8 meters.
The Sany Algeria service team has developed a special safeguard plan for this work. Sany 400T crawler crane has been affirmed by the construction party with its high stability and ultra-high lifting capacity. In this regard, Guo Jian, service manager of Sany Algeria, is full of pride.
At present, the Grand Mosque of Algeria has successfully entered the post-sprint stage, and it is expected that the steel structure of the prayer hall will be capped on October 30, 2016, and the steel structure of the minaret will be capped on March 15, 2017. After the completion of the overall project, the Great Mosque of Gema in Algeria will become the third largest mosque in the world.
