Recently, Sany Renewable Energy's 10MW onshore wind turbine equipped with a 100% domestic main control system was successfully connected to the grid for power generation in Tacheng, Xinjiang, marking that our country's core control system of large megawatt wind turbines has broken the international monopoly and ushered in a new era of complete independence and control.

The intelligent main control system of the 10MW wind turbine connected to the grid this time is jointly developed by Sany Renewable Energy and Kehuan Group's Guoneng Zhishen, and is the first national production control system applied to 10MW models in China. The system is based on a hardware platform and software algorithm with independent intellectual property rights, which can fully adapt to the complex onshore environment and power grid operation requirements. Since the grid connection and operation, the units have excellent indicators, which fully verifies the adaptability and control accuracy of the domestic main control system under extreme working conditions.
Break the international monopoly and forge the "Chinese core"
The main control system of the wind turbine is equivalent to the "brain" and "central nervous system" of the wind turbine, and is the key to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the unit. For a long time, the main control system market has been monopolized by several international giants, and the main control system of large megawatt wind turbines mostly relies on imports.

The technical team took the lead in overcoming the compatibility problems of nationally produced high-performance chips and operating systems, realized the control cycle and bus cycle of 100 microseconds, and significantly improved the response rate. At the same time, a full-link independent information innovation system from the bottom to the application has been built to realize the flexible and rapid deployment of modular master control programs. Facing the challenge of no-man's land for large megawatt wind turbines, we have developed our own precise load control technology. This series of breakthroughs not only fills the gap in domestic large-megawatt wind turbine control technology, but also provides key support for the autonomy of energy equipment.
The flexible architecture supports efficient switching of the system
In the process of switching the main control system of the 10MW wind turbine, Sany Renewable Energy has built a platform-based, modular, and hardware-independent flexible architecture system with its long-term accumulation in the field of main control software design, and realized the rapid migration of the whole process of domestic PLC from scratch to grid-connected power generation in only 79 days. The main control software is equipped with intelligent self-diagnosis and adaptive functions, which accurately identify wind turbine problems by real-time monitoring of the operating status, setting a new record of only 11 hours from wiring technical transformation to grid-connected power generation on site, setting a benchmark for the localization of the wind power industry, and ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the control system after migration.

From the initial drawing of the blueprint of project development to the meticulous polishing of the system implementation, Sany Renewable Energy and Guoneng Zhishen have always moved forward side by side. During the development period, the teams of both sides broke down barriers and co-worked, every problem could be quickly solved, every demand was responded to efficiently, and every plan was perfected, making collaboration the core driving force to promote the project.
