Shandong Bay Hoisting Engineering Co., Ltd.'s 2,000-ton crawler crane SCC20000A successfully completed the capping of the torch tower in the Yulong Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Project (Phase I).
The torch tower hoisted this time is 168m high and weighs 2100t, which is currently the highest torch in Asia.The torch is assembled vertically in eight segments and is assembled and hoisted modularly. The first section adopts the foundation assembly, and the second to eighth sections use SCC20000A crawler cranes, and the "single machine lifting and rotating hoisting process" is used to complete the hoisting task, which lasts 45 days.
According to the height and weight of the tower, SCC20000A select three working conditions: 108m main boom, 108m+60m tower jib, and 108m+90m tower jib to complete the hoisting task of 7 sections.
