"China's intelligent manufacturing promotion system has been initially formed." Miao Wei, Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, introduced that at present, the top-level design of promoting intelligent manufacturing has been basically completed, and the key tasks such as overcoming five types of key technologies and equipment, consolidating the three foundations, cultivating and promoting five new models, and promoting the integrated application of complete sets of equipment in ten key areas have been clarified.
At present, China has made a series of major breakthroughs in the key technology fields of intelligent manufacturing. A number of long-term imported technologies and equipment, such as laser additive manufacturing of high-performance large-scale metal components, distributed control systems, and complete sets of automatic dyeing technologies and equipment, have achieved breakthroughs. China has also successfully developed the world's first open integrated control software for additive manufacturing, conquered the core technology of motion control, and developed the "i5 intelligent numerical control system" with completely independent intellectual property rights, filling the gap in this field. A number of key standards such as the digital factory reference model have been successfully developed, and the standard architecture of intelligent manufacturing has been initially established.
Since 2015, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has implemented a special action for pilot demonstration of intelligent manufacturing for two consecutive years, and identified 109 pilot demonstration projects. The pilot demonstration project of intelligent manufacturing covers 27 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and 63 industries. According to preliminary estimates, compared with the pilot demonstration project before and after the intelligent transformation, the production efficiency has increased by more than 30% on average, and *5661 has reached more than 2 times; On average, operating costs are reduced by more than 20%, *5661 by 60%.

According to data from market research institutions, the output value of China's intelligent manufacturing was about 1 trillion yuan in 2015 and is expected to exceed 3 trillion yuan in 2020. Fan Huiwen, vice president of China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute, said frankly that compared with manufacturing powers, there is still a gap in China's intelligent manufacturing. For example, intelligent perception and control technology, digital design and manufacturing technology need to be improved urgently, key technologies and equipment such as robots and sensors are still controlled by people, the network security foundation of intelligent manufacturing is still relatively weak, and the ability to provide system integration solutions is insufficient.
"In the future, we will promote the development of intelligent manufacturing from two aspects. On the one hand, it is necessary to promote the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry, and on the other hand, through the development of intelligent manufacturing, it is necessary to promote the improvement of intelligent manufacturing equipment, core software systems, system integration capabilities, etc., and cultivate emerging industries. Zuo Shiquan said.
"It is necessary to continuously consolidate the foundation for the development of intelligent manufacturing through the systematic promotion of intelligent manufacturing engineering, intelligent manufacturing projects, pilot demonstrations, standard system construction, industrial Internet and other measures." Miao Wei said that it is necessary to focus on five types of key technical equipment, including high-end CNC machine tools and industrial robots, additive manufacturing equipment, intelligent sensing and control equipment, intelligent detection and assembly equipment, and intelligent logistics and warehousing equipment, to achieve key breakthroughs as soon as possible. At the same time, cultivate an intelligent manufacturing ecosystem, build a number of intelligent factories, and strive to establish a relatively complete intelligent manufacturing standard system by 2020, and accelerate the formation of new competitive advantages of Chinese manufacturing.
