The state should make it a basic national policy to support Chinese enterprises to go global
Reporter: At this year's two sessions, some people in economic circles said that although many Chinese enterprises have entered the world's top 500, these enterprises that have entered the world's top 500 are not really competitive international enterprises, but have been lifted into the threshold of the world's top 500 by China's huge economic aggregate. China's total GDP has reached the second place in the world, but the quantity and quality of international brands of Chinese enterprises and the degree of internationalization of Chinese enterprises are somewhat incommensurate with the second largest GDP of Chinese enterprises in the world. Needless to say, there are not many successful cases of Chinese enterprises on the road to internationalization, what are your views and feelings on this? What do you think is the bottleneck for Chinese companies to go global?
Xiang Wenbo: Chinese enterprises going global is an objective requirement for China's economic development, as well as an objective requirement for implementing the scientific outlook on development, and in line with the objective requirements for the sustainable development of Chinese enterprises.
There are very few successful cases of Chinese enterprises going out, the reason for this, in addition to the internal reasons of the enterprise, a very important reason is the lack of support of the national system, enterprises going out must have the support of the country's diplomatic, military, cultural, economic and other aspects. In foreign countries, Chinese enterprises will have a large number of personnel exchanges when they go out, and they need national diplomatic support; If the local people do not agree with the Chinese culture, it will be difficult for them to identify with the Chinese company, so it will be difficult for the Chinese company to develop in the local area. In addition, the financial services encountered by Chinese enterprises abroad is also a big problem, the degree of internationalization of China's financial institutions is not enough, and there are no outlets in many countries, in this case, our enterprises are in an unequal competitive position when they go out. In foreign countries, for example, if someone buys Caterpillar's products, Caterpillar can provide financial services such as bank mortgage loans, but we can't, we can only pay in full, and our competitiveness will naturally be defective, and these problems are not something that any of our companies can solve by themselves.
The state should make it a basic national policy to support Chinese enterprises to go global. The scale of China's enterprises has reached a very high level, and we must do a good job in the internationalization of Chinese enterprises. The production of Chinese enterprises abroad can transfer the pressure of our environmental protection emissions, reduce our demand for resources, and also reduce our total trade, relatively reduce trade frictions, and this does not reduce the income of our enterprises, we can keep the profits in China, and solve the bottleneck of the development of our enterprises. Second, it is necessary to solve the specific problems of Chinese enterprises going global, such as the problem of financial service support. Our banks and other financial companies can add branches abroad, so that we can support each other with banks. At the same time, the state should also support the development of financial leasing and other financial enterprises in China's manufacturing enterprises, so that China's manufacturing industry can stand on the same starting line with foreign giants.
National security is above all else, and it has entered the high-end equipment manufacturing industry
Reporter: At last year's "Two Sessions", you revealed to the media that Sany Heavy Industry will enter the field of high-end equipment manufacturing such as nuclear power equipment and aero engines. In the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the high-end equipment manufacturing industry is listed as one of the seven strategic emerging industries in the country, which can be said to provide a rare development opportunity for Sany Heavy Industry. As a leading enterprise in China's construction machinery industry, what will Sany Heavy Industry do in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing?
Xiang Wenbo: The development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry is very important to enhance the country's comprehensive strength. At present, most of the core technologies of China's high-end equipment are in the hands of foreigners, which makes China's enterprises have been controlled by others, and national security is above all else, Sany Heavy Industry is willing to contribute to the country's breakthrough development in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing. Although there are thresholds and restrictions for private enterprises to enter these fields, as long as private enterprises have the strength, I believe that they will definitely receive the support of relevant state departments.
As far as the wind power industry is concerned, China's wind power currently accounts for less than 1% of electricity generation, compared with 20% in some developed countries. Since December 2008*5,656 wind turbines were connected to the grid, Sany Electric has sold more than 500 MW of wind turbines. At present, Sany has invested and built in Beijing, which can be called the most complete industrial chain in ChinaWind power equipmentThe production base will soon be put into operation, and it is expected to manufacture more than 1,000 wind turbines of more than 1.5 megawatts per year.
