Xinhuanet Changsha, May 10 (Reporter Star) At 15:25 on the 10th, a flight MU5361 carrying three engineers aiding Japan landed safely at Changsha Huanghua International Airport. In the arrival hall of the airport, three engineers who returned from Japan were warmly welcomed by the colleagues of Sany Heavy Industry and the citizens of Changsha who were holding flowers.

The names of the three Chinese engineers are: Dai Da'an, Zhou Xin'an and Peng Yanshou. They overcame many difficulties and risked nuclear radiation to carry out rescue missions in Japan.

On March 11, a magnitude 9.0 earthquake struck Japan, and the subsequent nuclear leakage crisis attracted the world's attention. On March 19, after learning about the purchase needs put forward by Tokyo Electric Power Company, Sany Heavy Industry *5656 Time expressed its willingness to donate a 62-meter pump truck worth 1 million US dollars to Japan.

Due to their rich experience in pump truck commissioning and maintenance, three engineers from Sany Heavy Industry, Dai Da'an, Zhou Xin'an and Peng Yanshou, were selected to go to Japan to carry out pump truck operation training and other related work for Japanese personnel.

"When the company called me to inform me that I was going to Japan, they also asked for my opinion because of my personal safety. At that time, I didn't think much about it, and I just said yes, I just felt that I should do my part in the face of disaster. Peng Yanshou said. Subsequently, the three engineers set off from Shanghai, Changsha and Vietnam at the fastest speed, and arrived in Tokyo on March 21 and 22 respectively.

Zhou Xinan recalled that at that time, there were continuous aftershocks in Tokyo and the danger of nuclear radiation, and most of the foreigners had been basically evacuated. However, the three engineers stuck to Japan and trained Japanese operators in Chiba Prefecture.

"Due to the short training time, everyone was busy until 12 o'clock in the evening before returning to the hotel to rest, and getting up at 5 o'clock the next morning to continue working." Dai Daan told reporters. After high-intensity training and repeated operation inspections, two days later, the three Japanese operators were basically able to operate the pump truck smoothly.

At 12:45 on March 27, after about 8 days of preliminary work including equipment commissioning, land and sea transportation, operator training, and water testing, the 62-meter pump truck finally arrived at the command center of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. After high-intensity training and repeated operation inspections, the three Japanese operators can basically operate the pump truck smoothly.

At 12 o'clock on March 31, the 62-meter pump truck officially began to inject water to cool Unit 1 of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, and after 5,656 water injections, the temperature of the reactor dropped significantly.

The Japanese side is full of gratitude for Sany's charity and the outstanding performance of the three engineers. On April 1, Uichiro Niwa, Japanese Ambassador to China, sent a letter to Liang Wengen, Chairman of Sany Heavy Industry, expressing his gratitude to Sany on behalf of the Japanese government.

Rushing to Japan is not Sany Heavy Industry's participation in major international rescues 5,656 times. In October 2010, Sany Heavy Industry Crawler, known as "Shenzhou * 5656 Crane".craneIt showed its skills in the world-renowned Chilean mining disaster rescue.
