Market share: A unique international brand?

At the same time, statistics from January to September 2014 more than 6 tons of excavator sales totaled 52,759 units, of which foreign brands accounted for 61.2%, domestic brands accounted for only 38.8%.
"This gap is reasonable, but the landscape is constantly changing as domestic manufacturers continue to improve their technology and design capabilities. In addition, the advantages of domestic manufacturers in terms of price and after-sales maintenance system will also attract more and more customer resources. He also predicted that it was only a matter of time before domestic production equipment accounted for the main market share.

Despite this, there are still many people who believe that domestic excavators win by price, and imported excavators are of better quality. At the end of 2012, CLSA gave the answer to this question in a working condition test report.
The two-week test involved six major brands: Sany Heavy Industries, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Doosan, and Komatsu Group and Kobelco Group. The test results show that the Carter excavator has a significant advantage in terms of work efficiency, but the Sany excavator is the first in fuel economy, saving 10% of fuel consumption to complete the earthwork per unit of earthwork.
