From November 15th to 18th, the 2nd Key Customer Summit of Sany Africa Business Unit was held, and the highly anticipated second batch of 100-person customer groups in Africa arrived in Shanghai, and then went to Sany's various parks, starting a journey full of friendship and exchanges in China.

109 visiting customers from 35 countries including South Africa, Nigeria, Angola and Kenya visited Sany's seven factories in Kunshan, Changsha, Zhuzhou and Ningxiang, and deeply appreciated Sany's solid intelligent manufacturing level and strong talent and technical reserves.

On the morning of the 15th, Chen Jiayuan, chairman of Sany Heavy Machinery Division, delivered a welcome speech, saying that the success of Sany overseas business is inseparable from the support of African friends. Over the years, Sany has actively contributed to the construction of major projects in Africa and made the land of Africa more beautiful, all of which stemmed from the trust and win-win spirit of both sides.

Chen Jiayuan said that since the sales of excavators in 2020 topped the world, Sany has continuously increased investment in technology research and development, improved the supply capacity of accessories and the timely response rate of services, and continued to develop customized products more suitable for the African market, which has won good feedback from more and more African customers. It is hoped that the African "100-person group" can have a deeper understanding of Sany's intelligent manufacturing in the next visit and explore the possibility of more cooperation in the future.

From November 17th to 18th, the delegation visited successivelySany heavy truck, Zhuzhou Silicon Energy, Ningxiang Restart and No. 18 plant experienced the unique charm of Sany intelligent manufacturing and the strong strength of multi-category construction machinery manufacturing.

On the 17th, Dr. Chen Jia, Deputy General Manager of Sany Silicon Energy Battery Co., Ltd., elaborated on Sany's "Source-Grid-Load-Storage" microgrid project for African customers. In May this year, Sany Group signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Zambian government on photovoltaic projects, and this groundbreaking cooperation project and its typical business model of "mining + photovoltaic + energy storage + electrification products" have attracted the attention of many African customers. Many customers have shown strong interest in Sany's green energy solutions for the industry's energy-intensive manufacturing processes and are exploring the potential for further cooperation.

At the African Key Customer Summit on the 18th, Li Qin, Chairman of the Overseas Direct Sales Division of Sany Group, delivered a speech, expressing his warm welcome and sincere thanks to the African guests who came from afar. Li Qin said that Sany's overseas business is growing at a rapid rate of 20% per year, and the growth rate in Africa is gratifying. Sany continues to polish product quality and improve service levels, hoping to bring better products to African customers and work together to help Africa build a more beautiful homeland.

Subsequently, the integration of Sany's green mines, and Sany's "source-grid-load-storage" microgrid speeches took turns, allowing African customers to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Sany's "low-carbonization" and the company's new energy industry layout.

Today, Sany has 15 subsidiaries in Africa, with a total of more than 400 employees, and Sany equipment covers more than 50 countries and regions in Africa. From the Sudanese Danovy Dam and the East-West Highway in Algeria to the Kusile Power Station in Johannesburg, South Africa, Sany Equipment has been used in almost all major projects in Africa.

In 2024, the sales volume of the African region will exceed 4 billion yuan. Up to now, Sany has achieved a cumulative sales revenue of more than 20 billion yuan and more than 23,000 equipment in Africa, ranking first in the export of products of Chinese construction machinery enterprises to Africa.
