Sany Group's "Light Up Africa" series of activities in Malawi was successfully held

Recently, Sany Group successfully held a series of wonderful activities in Malawi with the theme of "Light Up Africa", bringing a new chapter of China-Africa friendship and cooperation to this land full of hope. From December 1st to 3rd, this series of activities not only demonstrated the corporate responsibility and responsibility of Sany Group, but also injected new vitality into the sustainable development of Africa and further deepened the cooperation between China and Africa in the field of green energy.

On December 1, Sany Group donated 500 sets of optical storage all-in-one machines with a total value of US$200,000 to Malawi, which can improve the current situation of local people in Malawi with electricity difficulties, solve the problem of power interruption in key areas such as medical care and education, and comprehensively promote local economic and social development

On the afternoon of December 3, the cooperation signing event of Sany Group's "Light Up Africa" Malawi Station was held in the Golden Peacock Hotel in Malawi. Guests attending the event included Tan Wensheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan Institute of Geology, Ibrahim Matola, Minister of Energy of Malawi, Zhang Chunfa, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Malawi, Allan Joseph Chintedza, Ambassador of Malawi to China, Zhang Jinsong, Chairman of Tiyang Mining Co., Ltd., Guo Ruiguang, General Manager of Sany Silicon Energy, and Xia Yimin, Deputy General Manager

At the signing ceremony, Guo Ruiguang, general manager of Sany Silicon Energy, expressed his warm welcome and sincere thanks to all the guests on behalf of Sany Group. Subsequently, Tan Wensheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan Institute of Geology, Zhang Chunfa, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Malawi, Allan Joseph Chintedza, Ambassador of Malawi to China, and Ibrahim Matola, Minister of Energy of Malawi, delivered speeches respectively, expressing high appreciation and expectation for the donation and cooperation of Sany Group.

Witnessed by everyone, Ibrahim Matola, Secretary Tan Wensheng and Mr. Guo Ruiguang launched the "Light Up Africa" ceremony, using Sany silicon energy and photovoltaic storage machine to jointly light up the map of Africa, symbolizing that this land has ushered in a new future of new energy development.

After the ceremony, Xia Yimin, deputy general manager of Sany Silicon Energy, introduced Sany Silicon Energy and its main business in detail, and deepened the guests' understanding of the industrial layout of Sany New Energy.

In addition, Sany Silicon Energy signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Energy of Malawi, aiming to promote international cooperation and development in the field of green energy, achieve green sustainable development goals, and ensure energy security. This initiative not only enhances the international competitiveness and brand influence of Sany Silicon Energy in the field of photovoltaic new energy, but also makes a positive contribution to the mutual benefit and win-win situation between China and Africa and the prosperity and development of the global energy industry.

Finally, Sany Silicon Energy, Tiyang Mining and Hunan Institute of Physics and Chemistry signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement, under which Sany Silicon Energy will build 9MW photovoltaic + 30MWh energy storage through the integrated project mode of investment, construction and operation, so as to provide clean and stable power supply for the mining area and ensure the safety of electricity consumption in the mining area. The signing of this strategic cooperation actively responds to the "Belt and Road" initiative and actively participates in promoting the development of Malawi's mining industry. This consensus and decision will also provide a strong power source for the rapid development of Malawi's mining industry and new energy transformation, and further serve Malawi's economic and social development.
