Central South University and its predecessor, Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, as an academic center in the fields of non-ferrous metals, mining and energy, have cultivated more than 200,000 professionals over the past 70 years, with alumni in all links of the industrial chain, and deeply promoted the upgrading of China's resource-based industries with the two-wheel drive of technological innovation and industry management. Last year, Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sany Group and Central South University jointly signed a cooperation agreement on the construction of industrial innovation platform between Sany Science and Technology City and Central South University, and planned to introduce 13 innovation centers and more than 10 national school-enterprise joint laboratories.

Kang Yi, former deputy general manager of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation and former president of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, shared the theme of "76 Years of Progress, Development Achievements and Construction of a Strong Country in New China's Nonferrous Metals Industry". Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone will continue to optimize the business environment, carry out a series of service activities of "I am an enterprise +", effectively strengthen the elements, environment and safety guarantees, open up a "green channel" for school-enterprise cooperation projects, and jointly write a green future of "intelligent manufacturing city".

In his speech, Tang Xiuguo said that Central South University has the world's leading scientific and technological strength and huge alumni resources in the industry. Guided by the strategy of "three modernizations", Sany has the world's leading advantages in technology, equipment and application scenarios, and is accelerating its transformation from a product provider to a solution provider, and has built an overall solution of "source, grid, load, storage, microgrid" and intelligent electrification "digging and shipping" complete sets of equipment in the field of green and smart mines. It is hoped that through the platform of the Zhongnan Alumni Entrepreneur Association, the scientific and technological strength of Zhongnan and the technical equipment scenario of Sany will be integrated, and the global mine innovation plan of "digital and real integration, AI leading, and platform collaboration" will be promoted.
