On July 2, 2011, the SCC16000 crawler crane successfully completed the hoisting of the No. 1 safety injection box of unit 1 of Guangdong Taishan Nuclear Power Plant, which has a diameter of 3.1m and a weight of 62t. This operation is to SCC16000 crawler crane * 8983 times to carry out hoisting operations, and the whole operation process lasts 30 minutes.
When the reactor pressure drops to medium pressure, the injection chamber can quickly inject boric acid solution into the core to prevent the fuel rods from melting and ensure the safety of the nuclear power plant.
