Shanghai Tower, a supertall landmark skyscraper in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, is designed to be taller than the nearby Shanghai World Financial Center.
Shanghai Tower covers an area of 433954 square meters, the main body of the building is 118 floors, the total height is 632 meters, the structural height is 580 meters, and the parking space for motor vehicles is arranged underground, which can park 2,000 vehicles. On November 29, 2008, the pile foundation of the main building was started, and on March 12, 2016, the Shanghai Tower was officially completed. On April 27, 2016, Shanghai Tower held the unveiling ceremony of the Builder's Wall of Honor and announced the step-by-step trial operation.
