Anderson Crane Leasing Company in the United Kingdom uses Sany crawler cranes for ship swinging services. The ferry, called Riverdance, was stranded on the beach by huge waves en route from Northern Ireland to the port of Heysham in the United Kingdom. The ferry weighs 6,000 metric tons. Anderson Crane Rental uses Sany crawler cranes to tilt the cars, trucks and containers to the starboard side of the ferry.
In October 2007, Anderson purchased a crawler crane from British agents Watson and Hillhouse, becoming the *8982 British company to own a Sany crawler crane.
