In the context of the global manufacturing industry moving towards Industry 4.0, Sany Heavy Industry, as a leading enterprise in the construction machinery industry, is also actively transforming to intelligent manufacturing. As early as 2005, Sany has set its sights on the field of Internet of Things and began to research on the core components and related technologies of construction machinery Internet of Things. Looking back at Sany's achievements in the Internet of Things over the years, it can be divided into three stages.
In the early exploration stage, Sany's main focus was to carry out R&D and application with "M2M" as the main component. In 2007, Sany Heavy Industry and China Mobile Changsha Branch began to establish the "M2M remote data acquisition and monitoring platform". The platform consists of three parts: data acquisition and reverse control subsystem, intelligent channel subsystem and M2M application platform. Through this platform, enterprises can receive the status parameters of the equipment in the monitoring center.
In order to solve the corresponding technical problems, the M2M remote data acquisition and monitoring platform* was initially used in a small range of engineering equipment and vehicles, and it was not until 2009 that it began to enter the stage of large-scale commercial use. In that year, Sany built the first domestic construction machinery Internet of Things enterprise control center to further improve the on-board M2M system, and all construction machinery was pre-installed before leaving the factory.
After 2010, Sany further subdivided M2M, forming a remote control technology support platform for equipment, an intelligent service system for the fleet, and aPump trucksThere are three sub-platforms of remote monitoring and maintenance system.
The equipment remote monitoring technology support platform provides reference data for the continuous improvement of the quality of the host equipment and the after-sales service of the equipment; The intelligent service system of the fleet can realize the operation coordination and operation guidance between the equipment of the fleet. Based on this, users can adopt more scientific vehicle scheduling strategies and equipment operation modes to improve enterprise operation efficiency and equipment utilization, and reduce overall operating costs; The remote monitoring and maintenance system of the pump truck can improve the operation ability and level of construction machinery.
In 2011, Sany Heavy Industry built an M2M application platform with a capacity of 5655 in the domestic construction machinery industry, which can support parallel access of 500,000 devices and has the ability to expand dynamically.
Sany has independently developed a big data storage and analysis platform, namely the "ECC customer service platform", which includes the hardware and software of the underlying control of all equipment, which can realize two-way interaction and remote control of equipment, and can transmit the real-time operation data of more than 200,000 customer equipment to the background for analysis and optimization through sensors.
This big data can be used to predict the macro environment, analyze product mix, predict equipment failures, and predict the demand for spare parts. In this way, it can not only analyze regional market changes in real time, guide marketing, but also provide reference value for product research and development based on market positioning.
It can be said that Sany has been at the forefront of the industry in terms of the Internet of Things, which will not only provide a strong impetus for its future development, but also will play a great role in promoting the overall transformation of the construction machinery industry to intelligent manufacturing.
