Hong Kong Wen Wei Po: Sany Heavy Industry ranked among the top five highly appreciated Chinese companies in 2012*

Fortune Chinese recently released the "2012* Admired Chinese Companies" ranking, construction machinery giant Sany Heavy Industry ranked among the top five in the All-Star List for the first time, and also ranked first in the manufacturing industry.

First launched by Fortune magazine in 2006, Sany Heavy Industry ranked among the top 10 for the first time last year, and this year it has risen five places in the rankings.

The top five companies on the All-Star List are Baidu, Alibaba, Haier, Huawei and Sany Heavy Industry, and Sany Heavy Industry is on the construction machinery industry* among all the 50 companies on the list. In the list of "manufacturing" sub-industries, Sany Heavy Industry ranked first, followed by XCMG Machinery, Li Ning, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and Aviation Industry Corporation of China.

In the first half of this year, Sany Heavy Industry's operating income reached 31.76 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, outperforming the market and its peers, of which the sales revenue in overseas markets reached 3.267 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 177%.
