Completed in 2014, the Shanghai Tower is located in Shanghai's Lujiazui financial center district, covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters, and is a comprehensive building integrating offices, hotels and tourism. After completion, it will form a "product" shaped super high-rise building complex with Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center.
The Shanghai Tower, which is topped out by the main structure, is built on a two-storey floor with an area equivalent to 1.6 standard football fields. The amount of concrete poured from this floor slab is equivalent to the first quarter of the world's financial center, which is the largest volume of the world's civil building floor volume.

In April of that year, after the pouring of the bottom plate was completed, 3 Sany trailer pumps and 2 distribution rods began to transport high-rise concrete. As of August 6 this year, the concrete pouring of the core tube of the 123rd floor and the outer wall of the 110th floor of the Shanghai Tower has been completed, pouring more than 90,000 cubic meters of concrete.
It is understood that the strength grade of the concrete pumped this time is C60, but after the concrete is added with admixtures, the actual pumping concrete strength grade reaches C100. "If pumping ordinary concrete is like pumping tap water, then pumping ultra-high-strength concrete like C100 is pumping asphalt." Users in the industry told reporters that high-strength concrete has very high requirements for pumping equipment.
With such a large national key project and such a difficult project, the contractor, Shanghai Construction Engineering, chose all 23 pumping equipment from the Sany brand. The person in charge of Shanghai Construction Engineering said: "If it were not for the full trust in the quality of Sany for many years, we would definitely not dare to do this." ”
9 super high-rise buildings in China 80% are pumped by Sany equipment
According to statistics, so far, the country has built and is building high-rise buildings distributed in Shanghai, Guangdong, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Liaoning and other places, Sany pumping equipment participated in the construction of 9 of the buildings, accounting for nearly 80% of the country's ultra-high-rise buildings. The skyscrapers above 500 meters in China are all built by Sany Equipment.
