At 3 p.m. on December 19, as one of the major events of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, the launching ceremony of the Sino-Thai railway cooperation project was held at the Ching Jak Khanon Railway Station in Bang Pain County, Ayutthaya, China, with more than 1,000 high-level officials and representatives from the two countries, including Chinese State Councilor Wang Yong, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, Wang Xiaotao, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Thai Minister of Transport Akong and Head of the Thai National Railway Company Vuthichai.
Thai Minister of Transport Akong introduced the background of the Sino-Thai railway project in his speech at the ceremony, Wang Xiaotao, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, introduced the main situation of the project cooperation, the leaders of the two sides jointly announced the launch of the Sino-Thai railway cooperation project, and Thai Deputy Prime Minister Ba Jin congratulated the project on the final launch of *8981 in his speech. At the ceremony, a congratulatory letter from Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha for the official launch of the China-Thailand railway cooperation project was read out. After the ceremony, the head of the State Railway of Thailand and the Chinese leaders visited the relevant exhibitions and the project model that will start construction, and also visited the large machinery that the Chinese side will use in the project.
Mr. Xie Feng, Deputy General Manager of Sany Heavy Industry and General Manager of Asia Pacific Region, as a representative of equipment enterprises, gave a detailed introduction to State Councilor Wang Yong and Vice Premier Ba Jin about the Sany equipment and the development of Sany in Thailand. When he learned that Sany currently has nearly 3,000 equipment in Thailand, including 300 Sany equipment involved in the construction of Thailand's new national railway station, and the market share of cranes has exceeded 60%, State Councilor Wang Yong congratulated Sany on its achievements in Thailand, and officially introduced Sany to Vice Premier Ba Jin, who visited together. The leaders of the two countries took a group photo in front of the Sany crane.

The Sino-Thai railway cooperation project is another major achievement of China's railway industry and technical standards as a whole after the China-Laos railway project, which will realize the interconnection of China and Thailand railways, promote the penetration of the Pan-Asian Railway, build a safe and smooth railway transportation network between China and ASEAN, and give full play to the service guarantee role of the railway in promoting the construction of the "Belt and Road" Contribute more to the strategy.
